Barambah Environmental Education Centre (EEC) camp programs have been designed to engage students in authentic learning experiences in an outdoor setting, taking into account the diverse range of preferred learning and interaction styles evident in all student groups. We offer unrivalled learning sites uniquely located on a traditional aboriginal pathway within Wrattens Regional Park.
Our unique location and natural history set us apart from other settings and allow us to offer learning experiences which cannot be replicated in other places. All students and teachers visiting Barambah EEC are immersed in experiential learning opportunities exploring the history, biology and ecology of our natural environment. They are able to connect to country through learning about the scientific knowledge and sustainable living practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People. Barambah EEC programs cater for all phases of education and are aligned to the Australian Curriculum learning areas, general capabilities and cross-curricula priorities.
We are an inclusive centre and welcome all staff and students to our educational setting. Our teaching and support staff will work with you to ensure students with disability or diverse learning needs are able to participate in a day or camp experience, access the curriculum and achieve learning outcomes.
