Barambah Environmental Education Centre

Welcome to Barambah Environmental Education Centre, a Department of Education and Training residential camp facility located in Wrattens Regional Park about 50km west of Gympie.

At Barambah, we work together to ensure that every day, every student is learning and achieving in our outdoor context by connecting to place and caring for self, caring for others and caring for country. Students are immersed in experiential learning opportunities utilising unique learning sites located on a traditional Aboriginal pathway, rich in culture and history.

Students visiting the Centre range from prep children on day visits to extended five day excursions catering for the learning needs of primary and secondary student groups. A comprehensive range of programs are available that focus on leadership and teamwork, forest ecology, and past and present uses of the area.
