Recycled Music Camp
This is a unique opportunity for students to engage in instrument making activities using recycled materials, immerse in our beautiful Barambah forest environment, create musical performances, and connect to the wider community on our Performance day.  Additionally students will learn how they can lessen their impact on the environment by adopting ecologically sustainable practices.

We are targeting instrumental or school music students who currently demonstrate a high level of capability, interest and enjoyment in music and/or performance activities.

Students will participate in two and a half days of workshops, and then facilitate a musical performance event.  School and community representatives will be invited to attend this special event on November 24.

The Recycled Music Camp aligns to the following Australian Curriculum areas:
Cross Curriculum Priorities - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures, Sustainability
General Capabilities – Critical & Creative Thinking
The Arts –Music
The camp will be supervised by the staff of Barambah Environmental Education Centre, visiting teachers and staff/adults from participating schools.
